Compliance Officer

Due to growth, we're seeking a Compliance Officer to support the Compliance function across the Lendi and Domain Home Loan brands.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Undertake investigative call, file and process audits
  • Conduct broker interviews
  • Assist in maintaining our Risk Management Framework
  • Liaise with our Product Team to implement platform improvements
  • Help handle customer complaints
  • Develop monthly training to address identified behavioural or knowledge gaps
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Translate observations into actionable recommendations to improve processes
  • Make data informed decisions to drive process and efficiency changes
  • Ensure our compliance obligations are met without compromising our customers' experience.

 

Skills and experience

  • 2+ years professional financial services experience (risk and compliance exposure preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience in an audit or investigation role is desirable
  • High level of initiative, resilience and sense of urgency to resolve matters in a timely manner, both independently and in a team environment
  • Highly organised, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
  • Competent in using excel, word, powerpoint and other commonly used applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Preferred applicants will have demonstrable knowledge of:
    • Australia Credit Licence requirements and obligations
    • NCCP Act and Regulations (including Regulatory Guides)
    • Privacy Act
    • AML/CTF

 

You'll be a keen worker who enjoys operating in a nimble team that is very delivery focused. Excellent communication skills are essential.
