Working with our Sydney based BA team, the Support Analyst will have to be responsible for the maintenance and testing of the configuration in our platform and investigate any discrepancies. They will also be the Manila-based representative of the BA team to help gather and deliver enhancements and defect fixes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write and execute test scenarios and cases as needed for BAU and projects
  • Support frontend development of features through defining of acceptance criteria and testing
  • Log and analyze bugs and errors found during tests
  • Update product information in Salesforce, such as Rate, Loan to Value Ratio, Fees
  • Investigate data discrepancies across different platforms, lenders websites and any other source of information available
  • Monitor helpdesk tickets and bank updates and help resolve
  • Help problem shoot and resolve defects with external integration partners
  • Understand how each product feature from a particular bank is reflected in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality and recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 years QA or support analyst experience in Australian banking (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the Software & Test Development Life Cycle
  • Familiarity with Black Box, Functional and Manual Testing
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Great attention to detail and data entry accuracy 
  • Strong Excel skills to manage large data set and reconciliation (including macro / VBA knowledge - preferred)
  • Logical thinker to resolve issues and analyse lender requirements 
  • Understanding of the home loan origination process including serviceability (preferred)
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies and understand new sources of information from different sources
  • Proficient in test documentations and bugs and defects tracking
  • End to end test execution using API’s and UI
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Proficient in Jira and Confluence
