The team and role

The People Operations Coordinator will play an important role in supporting the People function to make data driven decisions, which will be critical to the success of the team and business.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will develop a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges within the organisation, using your initiative to drive continuous improvement and development.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring appropriate and effective people-related systems, processes, policies, and procedures are in place to maintain compliance with local legislation and manage risks – i.e. owning Employment Hero
  • Recommending changes to People policies and procedures to ensure company compliance
  • Assisting with the administration and co-ordination of recruitment processes and logistics including onboarding, inboarding and offboarding
  • Supporting and managing our People Coordinator, with employee lifecycle coordination and onboarding documentation
  • Supporting the HR team in day-to-day activities and projects as required
  • Assisting with establishing and maintaining internal processes, including Jira workflow management and checklist management
  • Administration of all reporting across the employee lifecycle and employee engagement programs
  • Preparing reports, presentations and position papers for relevant stakeholders.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Some experience in a HR administrative role
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Moderate knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Sound knowledge and skills with HR tools and systems

 

You will be an energetic and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, and passionate about people experience & culture. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to support the management of varied workloads and balancing scheduled tasks which may have short deadlines.
