The Team

The Product Team is responsible for the delivery of all consumer and team experiences as we seek to digitalise the complex process that is an Australian home loan and enable home owners and potential home owners the ability to settle a home loan, online. Product Managers work within and drive the outcomes of our cross-functional squad, including Design, our Technical Lead and Engineering Team.


The Role

We are looking for a consumer-focused Product Manager to help us deliver the world’s best digital home loan experience. Our Product Roadmap includes a large amount of greenfield product and digital product iterations to automate every aspect of the Australian home loan journey.

As Product Manager, you will take ownership of specific platform functionality, leading the creation of product to improve user outcomes, research best practice and work with our Design Team. While this is a senior role within the business, we cannot stress enough that this is a hands-on, fast-paced role where the successful applicant will lead by example and retain ongoing product ownership. The role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.


Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with and be a bridge for Engineers and Designers to ensure our Products are well defined, high impact and successfully implemented
  • Scope user stories in a granular fashion so they are “build ready”
  • Identify areas for improvement, lead research and plan for existing product and functional innovation
  • Work with the Design team to support them in creating clean UI and functional UX in the complex world of home loans
  • Shape our immediate and long term vision and priorities in conjunction with the CPO.


Your Experience

The successful applicant will likely have:

  • Experience in Product Management (mandatory)
  • Experience in Home Loans, Finance or Banking (preferable)
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in digital customer journeys
  • The ability to work closely with Design and Engineering, communicate our priorities, scope projects and deliver on a vision, including experience in tech ready user stories
  • Experience in analytics, consumer funnels or complex digital transactions
  • And most importantly, the experience in getting stuff delivered.
